HISTORY

Founded in 1956 by Gordon C. Brainerd, the agency grew rapidly through the acquisition of several other local agencies. Our relationships with our companies stretch back to the 1820's through some of these acquired agencies. In 1993, Gordon C. Brainerd, Jr. purchased the agency and incorporated it.

WHAT WE DO

We are an independent property and casualty agency licensed to do business in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. We focus on personal home and auto insurance, and on property and casualty coverages for small businesses. We have access to a wide range of life and health insurance products through our own companies and through strong relationships with other independent agents with those specialties.
